Branch Counseling and Trauma Center is in-network with most major insurance Providers; however, we are not in network with any Marketplace, Medicaid, or Medicare plans, regardless of insurance provider.
It is recommended that you contact your insurance provider to confirm benefits for mental health services, Telehealth services (if applicable), and confirm the co-pay/deductible amount you will owe for each 60-minute session.
We accept a wide range of major insurance! Please note that we are not in network with Medicaid or Medicare plans. If you are unsure whether your insurance covers services at Branch Counseling and Trauma Center, we encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to verify your mental health benefits.
If you choose to use insurance, BCTC will bill your insurance company for sessions. You will be responsible for the copay, deductible, and any percentage not covered by the insurance company.

Initial Diagnostic Assessment (20-60 min): $160
Individual Session (53 -60 min): $140
Intensive Sessions/Programs: Half of the payment is due
to schedule an appointment with a therapist, which is considered non-refundable.
Letter writing is pro-rated: 60 minutes $140
Late Cancel/No Call No Show: $140
Copy of Records: For the patient or their personal representative:
• Paper or electronic records:
◦ $3.88 per page for the first 10 pages.
◦ $0.81 per page for pages 11 through 50.
◦ $0.32 per page for pages 51 and higher.
• Electronic transmission: The total cost cannot exceed $50 for digital or
electronically transmitted records.
• Postage: Actual shipping costs may be added.
For a third party (such as a lawyer or insurer):
• Records search fee: $23.94.
• Paper or electronic records:
◦ $1.58 per page for the first 10 pages.
◦ $0.81 per page for pages 11 through 50.
◦ $0.32 per page for pages 51 and higher.
Court Appearance: If your counselor is required to provide treatment records or testimony in any legal proceeding, BCTC will charge a retainer fee of $2,000.
Hourly charges are $200 for any preparation time spent to appear or turn over documents.
If asked to appear in court, you agree to pay $250 per hour. Fees include travel time to and from the office, the time s/he spends being “on call” to testify, and the legal proceeding itself.
You will incur a minimum charge for four hours. BCTC will bill any additional time in four-hour increments.
The initial $1,000 is due in full one week before any scheduled court appearance or deposition.
